Expressions of Interest – Industry Research Project with Defence Trailblazer
If you are considering Higher Degree Research studies with a focus on defence industry led research, this could be the unique opportunity for you!
The Defence Trailblazer initiative is a once in a generation opportunity to strengthen the collaboration between defence, academia and industry whilst accelerating research and commercialisation.
$50,000 p.a. scholarships are available to eligible high achieving students interested in working closely with a defence industry partner on a project aimed at meeting Defence capability needs of the future.

Research Location:
Submitting an Expression of Interest via the University of Adelaide will register your interest in undertaking a research degree at the University of Adelaide, South Australia.
Special Requirements:
Due to the nature of the Defence Trailblazer projects, it is expected that the majority of projects will require the candidate to have a security clearance which will likely limit applicants to Australian Citizens or citizens of countries within the Five Eyes Alliance (FVEY).
